The internet is filled with hundreds of cute kitten and cat videos. If you visit Youtube and type in search terms like ‘cute cat videos’ or ‘kitten videos’ you will come across many videos I am sure you will enjoy watching. I myself have watched several of these. I love the ones where cats are getting along with different species of animals like dogs and other domesticated and wild animals – like the one where the cat is with a fox and an eagle. But recently I came across a fantastic video of two kittens watching tennis which is the cutest kitten video I have watched. You can check it out below:-
Jack the homework eater is my latest book. I have been working on it for about a month now. The idea had been percolating in my mind and I was finally able to put my thoughts on paper.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a werewolf? Though I have posted the article on pros and cons of being a vampire before, I like werewolves more. Not the weak ones they show on TV these days which can just turn into weak wolves, but the powerful ones like the ones in Van Helsing, Underworld, Silver Bullet, New Moon, etc. Powerful werewolves also play a big role in the sequel to my book “Living With Ogres”. Therefore I have written the pros and cons of being a werewolf below...
Marshside is the place in which the ogres reside in the book “Living With Ogres”. Marshside as the name says is a marsh where Karen, Tom, and Anna the Steelchild Ogres live with Matt, Donna and Arlene who are their slaves.
It’s not a very nice place. The ogres are very mean and expect a lot of work from the slaves for nothing in return. There aren’t many living beings in the vicinity as the ogres have scared everything, animals, other ogres and humans, out of this place. It’s a very lonely place. Karen Steelchild, the ogre that runs the house actually likes this place a lot. She likes the loneliness she has created and the power she has gained over this entire land and she wants to keep it that way, but it’s a little too lonely for the slaves as the ogres and themselves are the only life they can see for miles.
A crimson red fox runs through woods and farms all covered with undergrowth, with its heart beating wildly. While a huge pack of dogs, chase this lone fox. The dogs normally belong to the foxhound breed. And that’s not all these dogs are joined by huntsmen who ride their own horses.
One tiny little fox chased by massive dogs and massive men on towering horses, that’s what fox hunting, is all about. The chase goes on till this group of blood thirsty hunters finally jump upon and destroy the tiny fox. Normally when the fox escapes into the burrow, terriers are brought in, to dig the fox out, so that the group of dogs can hunt it down and attack it together. Sometimes, if lucky, the hunter eases the fox of all this pain caused by the sharp mouths of the dogs, by silencing it with a bullet.

Humans, in their quest to acquire more and more land, start encroaching into Farthing Wood. It starts with all the massive bulldozers tearing up the forest and the homes of many animals. This scares all the animals and a meeting is held at the badger’s burrow.
The meeting is attended by animals like badger, fox, weasel, adder, toad, owl, kestrel, etc. The meeting is lead by fox and badger, who try to come up with a solution which will help save the animals from the dangers in the forest. Of all the animals, toad comes up with the best solution.
Ogres are interesting characters. They first started out as mean, evil creatures that only cared about themselves and did lots of cruel disgusting things. Then there was Shrek who helped us see ogres from a different angle. Shrek showed us that ogres can be kind and friendly sometimes.
You have them in books, television, movies, etc. Out of all these places the best place to find them is in books. Ogre story books where you get to see the lives of ogres and their surroundings and you get to enjoy them can entertain you again and again.
Below is a list of 5 ogre story books children will enjoy reading:-
Shrek is an Ogre, who lives a solitary life in a swap. He enjoys living his solitary life in the swamp, until he is joined by many fairytale creatures like The Big Bad Wolf, The Three Little Pigs, The Three Blind Mice and Donkey in his swamp.
