What Would You do if You Saw a Ghost?

November 17, 2011 by Mitt Ray 5 Comments

What Would You do if You Saw a Ghost

I don’t believe in ghosts. But recently I have been watching a lot of paranormal movies and TV series. I have watched all the underworld movies. I have also been watching the supernatural series, vampire diaries, true blood etc. I have also read some horror books. I am planning to read the “Books of Blood” too. I have been doing this to gather some information. I also want to watch something that will really scare me, something that can give me nightmares.

Watching all these movies and shows and reading all these books has actually influenced my life a lot. I have started getting many ideas and I have started thinking about paranormal creatures a lot.

Pros and Cons of Being a Werewolf

November 3, 2011 by Mitt Ray 4 Comments

Pros and Cons of Being a WerewolfHave you ever wondered what it would be like to be a werewolf? Though I have posted the article on pros and cons of being a vampire before, I like werewolves more. Not the weak ones they show on TV these days which can just turn into weak wolves, but the powerful ones like the ones in Van Helsing, Underworld, Silver Bullet, New Moon, etc. Powerful werewolves also play a big role in the sequel to my book “Living With Ogres”. Therefore I have written the pros and cons of being a werewolf below...

Pros and Cons of Being a Vampire

November 1, 2011 by Mitt Ray 18 Comments

Pros and Cons of Being a VampireI am bombarded by fictional vampires every day. With the success of countless books (Twilight, The Southern Vampire Mysteries, etc.), movies (Twilight, An Interview With a Vampire, etc.) and TV Shows (True Blood, The Vampire Diaries, Being Human, etc.) I see vampires all around as I keep hearing about vampires and their lifestyles everyday over both the TV and the internet.

Yesterday was Halloween, I knew if I was to dress up as any creature I would have gone as a vampire, not only because it’s easy (all you need is a fake teeth – maybe a cape too if you want to be the “THE VAMPIRE”), but also because I like them.

This got me wondering what would it be like to be a vampire, will life be better or will it just be the same or will life be uninteresting. This is why I have a compiled the Pros and Cons of being a vampire below:-

Should You Write With Your Heart or Your Head

October 15, 2011 by Mitt Ray Leave a Comment

Should You Write With Your Heart or Your Head

While writing fiction you have two choices; you can either write with your heart or with your head. One of my friends and I had a discussion about this a few months ago. He felt that you need to determine who your audience is, what they like and write with your head. I, on the other hand felt that you need to put in your heart and create something unique and decide who your audience should be, later.

Are Witches Real?

October 3, 2011 by Mitt Ray Leave a Comment

Are Witches Real?Witches are very popular fictional characters. They can be found in many popular books like The “Chronicles of Narnia,” “Harry Potter” and various other fictional books. They can also be found in many movies like “Sleepy Hollow” and “Practical Magic” and in popular TV shows like “Sabrina The Teenage Witch.”

They are both evil and friendly witches. Evil or friendly, people still like them just the same, because everybody loves magic. Who wouldn’t like the power to create something out of nothing, using magic? Magic can help you get anything you want – your favourite foods, keep enemies away, fly, and get everybody to like you. Do you wish there was a school like Hogwarts to teach you how to become a witch or do you just wonder if witches, witchcraft and magic are really true?

Marshside in Living With Ogres

September 28, 2011 by Mitt Ray Leave a Comment

Marshside in Living With Ogres

Marshside is the place in which the ogres reside in the book “Living With Ogres”. Marshside as the name says is a marsh where Karen, Tom, and Anna the Steelchild Ogres live with Matt, Donna and Arlene who are their slaves.

It’s not a very nice place. The ogres are very mean and expect a lot of work from the slaves for nothing in return. There aren’t many living beings in the vicinity as the ogres have scared everything, animals, other ogres and humans, out of this place. It’s a very lonely place. Karen Steelchild, the ogre that runs the house actually likes this place a lot. She likes the loneliness she has created and the power she has gained over this entire land and she wants to keep it that way, but it’s a little too lonely for the slaves as the ogres and themselves are the only life they can see for miles.
