Funny, colourful and unique are some of the qualities that describe Muppets. They are probably the most popular puppets appearing in TV shows, movies, and books. The most popular puppet show is the Sesame Street. But there are many more great shows kids and adults will enjoy watching. Below is a list of Muppet shows, which will bring a smile to your face:-
1. Sesame Street
Join Elmo, Bert and Ernie, Big Bird, The Cookie Monster, Bob, Linda, the Robinsons and many other Muppets and humans in Sesame Street, as they make education fun, with their entertaining and easy to understand way of teaching and their sense of humour.
Sesame Street is one of the most entertaining shows out there. It has very friendly entertaining characters that educate and entertain children and adults. The fact that the show has been running for more than 40 years proves that there’s something great about. This is a great show especially for preschoolers, as it educates them using an easy to understand fun method.
2. The Muppet Show
Join Kermit the frog at the Muppet Theatre as he tries to control the regular performers and guest stars that star in the Muppet show. The other mischievous Muppets perform actions that blow up Kermit’s short fuse and make it even harder for him to control everybody. Some of the popular characters include Miss Piggy, Scooter, Gonzo and Fozzie Bear.
Kermit the frog’s short temper and the other characters mischievous behaviour make this show extremely hilarious and entertaining. It entertains both children and adults. You will not be able to take your eyes off the screen as it keeps you laughing. You will never get bored of this show as you keep you watching it again and again.
3. Fraggle Rock
Red, Wembley, Gobo, Boober and Mokey are the main Fraggles who are joined by other Fraggles, the Doozers and several other creatures in Fraggle Rock. They go through many adventures together and entertain you with their singing and their great sense of humour. The show will make you laugh and sing along.
This is a very entertaining show. Many viewers consider this the best Muppet show. Fraggle Rock can be enjoyed by both adults and kids. Though it seems very easy going with the songs and the humour, it also covers many serious issues like prejudice, social conflict, personal identity, etc. The show also teaches kids and adults that it’s important to mix with people from different cultures and backgrounds. This is demonstrated by the Fraggles, the Doozers, The Trash, the Gorgs and many other characters, all getting along well together.
4. Bear in the Big Blue House
Bear lives in the big blue house where he’s joined by Tutter the mouse, Rat, Pip and Pop the purple otter twins, Ojo and various other Muppets. They go through life educating about important topics like friendship, helping, brushing your teeth, etc. and they do all this in a manner which is funny as well as easy to understand. Sometimes they even sing aloud and make boring lessons more entertaining.
Bear in the Big Blue House is one of the most educative shows. Kids really enjoy watching this show though it’s educative, as it puts everything in a very entertaining manner. Kids won’t notice that they’re being told to do something, because they will enjoy doing what the bear and the other characters ask them to do. Adults will also enjoy watching this show as they will learn how to train their kids in a fun way. It covers everyday lessons like bathing, washing, helping, etc. which are rarely talked about in other shows. This is a must watch for both kids and adults.
5. Muppets Tonight
Join Clifford as he hosts the Muppet Show at the KMUP. Clifford’s joined by Kermit the frog who runs this show just like “The Muppet Show”. Here they’re joined by some Muppets from “The Muppet Show” like Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Statler and many other Muppets. All of them joined by their new Muppet friends return to their mischievous antics and make it really hard for Clifford and Kermit the Frog to run the show.
This show is as entertaining as “The Muppet Show”. It’s fun to watch the mischievous antics of the Muppets that make it really hard for Kermit the Frog and Clifford to organize the show. This show has entertained both kids and adults. It’s hard to understand why it only lasted for two seasons.
