White Fang by Jack London – Book Review

Ages 10 and up

White Fang’s a 3/4th wolf and 1/4th dog who is born in the wild. His mother’s a half wolf – half dog who was initially raised by humans and his father’s a complete wild wolf. At the beginning White Fang is raised in the wild by his mother. He learns about all the wild ways of the forest where you need to be hard and wild to survive. While growing up in the wild he has his first encounter with humans in the woods.

Pi has a great life. He lives in India with his parents and everybody else seems to like him and he’s got something unique, something most kids would want. He lives in a zoo his father owns, yes he’s got his own zoo and he can go there and do almost anything he wants to. He’s very happy to be there and spends a lot of time there.

At the moment Children’s panda books are in great demand because of the release of the movie Kung Fu Panda 2. Both the first and the second Kung Fu Panda movies performed really well. Even if it wasn’t because of the movie, pandas have always been lovable cute creatures. They are chubby, cute, fluffy and soft creatures. All you want to do is hug their soft bodies and give them a kiss.

They are also the animals that represent the WWF (World Wide Fund) which is the largest animal conservation organization.
